OPEI

The Organization for Promotion of European Issues (OPEI) is an educational, outward-looking, and innovative NGO based in Paphos, Cyprus. Our mission spans multiple domains, including social inclusion, education, environmental protection, culture, and youth empowerment, with a strong emphasis on supporting disadvantaged groups. In recent years, OPEI has played a crucial role in helping young people overcome social and economic challenges by developing tailored, innovative solutions that address their specific needs.
Our team is composed of highly skilled professionals, including youth workers, trainers, consultants, psychologists, social workers, teachers, and various other specialists. Their dedication drives OPEI’s objectives, offering training and volunteering opportunities in soft skills while supporting youth welfare services. Through our initiatives, we foster inclusion, innovation, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging among individuals, groups, and communities.
OPEI’s extensive volunteering programs have enabled countless individuals to develop essential skills they might not have otherwise acquired. We have substantial experience in hosting students from EU countries, providing them with a safe, welcoming environment throughout their stay. Each year, we host over 2,000 individuals in Paphos through various EUfunded projects, offering opportunities for both personal and professional development.
