<p>Vrsar is a seaside destination located on the western coast of Istria, at the very entrance to the Lim Bay, an area of exceptional natural value and well-preserved landscapes. With a rich fishing tradition, valuable cultural heritage and a well-preserved historic old town rising above the sea, Vrsar has for decades been recognised as a destination where tourism development is closely linked to natural and cultural resources. The Lim Bay, the surrounding archipelago and diverse outdoor infrastructure represent both an opportunity and a responsibility in the context of sustainable destination management.<br />
The Vrsar Tourist Board is the official local public tourism organisation responsible for the strategic planning, development and promotion of tourism in the Municipality of Vrsar. Its scope of activities goes beyond promotional tasks and includes destination management, coordination of tourism stakeholders, and the implementation of activities aimed at improving the quality, sustainability and competitiveness of the local tourism offer, in line with national and regional development strategies.<br />
