University of Sannio (UNISANNIO)

The University of Sannio (Italian: Università degli Studi del Sannio,
UNISANNIO) is a public university located in Benevento, southern Italy. Founded in 1998 as an independent institution after previously being part of the University of Salerno, UNISANNIO currently enrolls nearly 6,000 students. The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fields of Law, Statistics, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Economics and Business Administration.

The University is organized into three Departments:

Department of Law, Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods (DEMM)
This Department offers first-cycle degree programmes in Actuarial and Statistical Sciences and Economics, Finance and Banking; second-cycle degree programmes in Actuarial and Statistical Sciences and Economics and Management; and a single-cycle Master’s degree programme in Law.

Department of Engineering (DING)
This Department provides first-cycle degree programmes in Information Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Energy Engineering, as well as corresponding second-cycle degree programmes in the same fields.

Department of Sciences and Technologies (DST)
This Department offers degree programmes in Biology, Geology, and Biotechnology, together with second-cycle degree programmes in Biology, Genetic Sciences, and Geological Sciences.
